Why I’m Starting “Theo Reports”

In this first post, I want to introduce myself and share why I’m launching this project.

My name is Fernando Teófilo, and at heart, I am simply passionate about digital marketing.

But let me be clear. To me, digital marketing encompasses the entire digital experience, far beyond just performance ads and SEO. It includes brand identity, content strategy, UX, and UI. If it is digital and used to connect with an audience, for me it is digital marketing.

I love see what brands are doing do online, checking what works, what not, comparing them against peers in the same space, and packaging those takeaways to share with the wider marketing community.

I truly believe in the power of open knowledge sharing. That is how I learned everything I know today: by reading what generous practitioners wrote about their own experiments and hard-won lessons.

Theo Reports is built on that principle. It is a space to share over 20 years of experience across media and digital marketing. In a way, it is my way of giving back to the community that helped build my own career.

I know the internet is crowded, to say the least.

Does the world really need another marketing blog? Haven’t we heard enough? Probably yes, but I believe there is always room for another perspective when it is grounded in real, hands-on experience. There is always space for an authentic point of view, especially one driven by a genuine desire to help others grow.

That is why I started Theo Reports. I want to help practitioners, or someone in the shoes I wore 10 or 20 years ago, learn something practical. Not because I have all the answers. I simply want to share what I uncover and how I interpret it. If I do my job well, you might find something worth stopping to read.

So, welcome to Theo Reports!
